Jim started with music at age seven when his parents plunked him down in front of their upright piano. But he quickly rebelled and found the guitar at age eight. Jim told a journalist in his first interview in NYC, "Music isn't the spice of life. Music is life."
Bio
Jim Resnick is a passionate, talented and committed guitarist. Having relocated to Phoenix, Arizona from New York City in 2012, Jim has performed and recorded with many bands and vocalists in a wide variety of genres from pop, rock, jazz, folk and hip-hop. He's been on stage in intimate settings and large venues, colleges, sports complexes, temples and churches ranging from the famous Bitter End, Ashford & Simpson's Sugar Bar and Le Bar Bat in NYC to the Nash and The Van Buren in Arizona. Jim was also the house guitarist at Play Studios in NYC in the 2000s.
